On the 12th of May, five Scouts and three Scoutmasters joined in at the downtown Post Office to unload the letter carrier's trucks full of bags of food donated by our citizens to the 2nd Harvest Food bank to feed hungry people in our community.
Our intrepid Scouts moved about 12,00lbs (6 tons!) of food from the mail trucks to the 2nd Harvest food bins. Kudos to our citizens, to our letter carriers, to the 2nd Harvest Food Bank, and especially to our Scouts for doing their part to make this happen!
Once again our Scouts have shown that having a good time and doing a good turn go hand in hand when you are a Boy Scout!
