Photos from the Troop 618 camping trip to Mt. Madonna County Park in May of 2015.
Some highlights of the trip:
- A two night trip with many meals prepared and adventures taken by the Scouts
- Dutch oven cooking including meatloaf and chocolate cake cooked with campfire coals in the fire ring (0005, 0027, 0030)
- Exploring the crumbling ruins of the Miller Estate (0020-0025)
- Adam inventing a comfy hammock design made with two ropes and a tarp (0015, 0028)
- Building a Monkey Bridge and load testing it to determine it's weight limit of 4 Scouts (0017)
- Scoutmasters braving the Horrible Flesh Eating Albino Turkeys of Mt. Madonna and sleeping out in the open under a Mt. Man style canvas shelter (0032)
